Dr. David T. Yuan

David Yuan, MD, MS, is a family medicine and geriatric physician, dual-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is the director for the UPMC St. Margaret Geriatric Fellowship Program. Dr. Yuan received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his residency at Chestnut Hill Family Practice. He completed his fellowships in geriatrics and faculty development at UPMC and completed a Master of  Medical Education at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Yuan’s clinical interests include health care for the older population in the community and educating learners in geriatrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Geriatrics Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society. Dr. Yuan is membership chair of the Pennsylvania Geriatrics Society - Western Division. Dr. Yuan lives in Point Breeze, near Pittsburgh, with his wife and two daughters.
