During my neurology and neurophysiology training at Duke, I developed an abiding fondness for my colleagues and patients, so it was an easy decision to stay on as an attending physician. As a hospital neurologist, my interests are in the diagnosis and treatment of acute neurologic problems, such as seizures, head injuries, infections, and autoimmune conditions. My outpatient practice focuses on the treatment of epilepsy in patients with hard-to-control seizures. In both the hospital and clinic, I have the pleasure of working with the excellent medical students, residents, and fellows of Duke University Hospital, along with nationally and internationally recognized colleagues.
