Dr. Alexa S. Lessow
Overview
While I do treat all general ear, nose and throat problems, I specialize in nasal and sinus disease and perform nasal, sinus, and upper airway surgery for chronic sinusitis, nasal obstruction, snoring and sleep apnea.
I am a strong proponent of taking the time to educate my patients on their symptoms; I feel strongly that the patients' understanding of their medical problems is just as vital to their wellness as the medical and surgical treatment that I can provide.
Our office tries to make things easier on patients by doing our best to make their test appointments at other facilities and appointments with other physicians for them before they leave the office; I find this expedites their care and it is one less thing for my patients to worry about.
I also feel it is extremely important to be part of the patient's healthcare team. I realize that my role in their healthcare is only a part of the whole picture, and communicating with their internists and as needed, other healthcare providers, is essential to maintaining high quality of care to my patients.
