
Overview
Dr. David Henry is a double-board certified general surgeon who specializes minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery, which allows his patients to have excellent outcomes and quick recoveries. Dr. Henry grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed a highly-competitive 6-year BS/MD program with Penn State University and Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Henry has done research at Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School, the University of Pittsburgh, Thomas Jefferson University, and Michigan State University.
Dr. Henry completed general surgery residency at Michigan State University. He completed a minimally invasive, bariatric, and robotic surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), and a mastery in general surgery and acute care surgery fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Henry has completed more than 3500 surgeries. Dr. Henry cares deeply about his patients, has excellent outcomes, and has excellent bedside manner.
