Overview
As a board certified pediatric cardiologist with additional training in pediatric cardiac critical care, I enjoy caring for critically ill children and young adults with congenital and acquired heart disease. With a focus in patient safety, I lead multidisciplinary teams to prevent patient harm and to improve outcomes. I am the physician director of the Pediatric Emergency Response Oversight Committee, who focuses on cardiac arrest prevention, preparedness, quality and outcomes throughout Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center. When not at the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, running outside, yoga and reading.
