Dr. Umayr A. Azimi
Overview
Umayr Azimi MD is an internist with medical expertise in acute care/hospital medicine, urgent care/occupational medicine, ambulatory/primary care medicine, and obesity medicine. He is dual board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Obesity Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
Dr. Azimi was born and raised in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area, and did his residency training with Michigan State University at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has performed further obesity training through the Columbia/Cornell Obesity Medicine training program and regularly attends conferences to ensure he remains up-to-date on the latest medical advances to provide his patients with the most up to date care.
