Dr. Nikhil Chokshi is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement and orthopaedic oncology. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis, where he also earned his medical degree from its highly-ranked medical school. Dr. Chokshi completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Seton Hall University in New Jersey, where he was recognized as Outstanding Chief Resident and received multiple teaching awards. Following his residency, he pursued two fellowships at the University of Sydney/Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, concentrating on Arthroplasty, Orthopaedic Oncology, and Orthopaedic Trauma. After practicing in Illinois, he joined Coastline Orthopaedics.
Dr. Chokshi is an expert in the direct anterior approach to total hip replacement surgery. He also specializes in patient-specific and robotic knee replacements, allowing the surgery to align with each patient's unique knee anatomy, enhancing surgical precision.
