Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Alan Norman graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University. He completed his medical doctorate and internship at Baylor College of Medicine, where he earned distinction as an Alpha Omega Alpha honor society member and was active in medical mission work. Dr. Norman then pursued his ophthalmology residency at the University of Oklahoma Dean A. McGee Eye Institute, and his pediatric ophthalmology/adult strabismus fellowship at Washington University.
