He discovered a passion for the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and later his calling of treating pain leading him to attend the Pain Medicine Fellowship at UC Davis whose program earned the 2016 Pain Medicine Fellowship Excellence Award from the American Academy of Pain Medicine. Holding dual board certifications in these fields, Dr. Sacky served as a faculty member at the UT Austin Dell Medical School PM&R Residency Program teaching medical students and resident physicians about the field of Pain Medicine.
