Comparison of Hemodynamic Performance of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement With Supra-Annular Self-Expanding Versus Balloon-Expandable Valves Assessed by Exercise Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance

Summary: The hypothesis is that SEV result in superior valvular hemodynamics (more pronounced during exercise) and exercise capacity relative to BEV. Furthermore, the hypothesis is that stress CMR will be able to demonstrate differences in these hemodynamic parameters. CMR will also provide refined assessment of paravalvular leak and its impact on ventricular function and on clinical outcomes.

The PROGRESS Trial: A Prospective, Randomized, Controlled Trial to Assess the Management of Moderate Aortic Stenosis by Clinical Surveillance or Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement

Summary: This study objective is to establish the safety and effectiveness of the Edwards SAPIEN 3 / SAPIEN 3 Ultra / SAPIEN 3 Ultra RESILIA Transcatheter Heart Valve systems in subjects with moderate, calcific aortic stenosis. Following completion of enrollment, subjects will be eligible for enrollment in the continued access phase of the trial.

Impact of Beta-blocker Administration on Outcome Among Patients Undergoing Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement B-TAVR

Summary: This is a multi-centric, open-label, randomized trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of temporary discontinuation of beta-blocker treatment in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement.

Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement Using the JenaValve TrilogyTM Heart Valve System for Clinically Significant Aortic Regurgitation in Patients With Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD)

Summary: To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the JenaValve Trilogy™ Heart Valve System for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in subjects with continuous flow left ventricular assist devices (cfLVAD) and clinically significant aortic regurgitation (AR) who are indicated for TAVR

REdo tranScatheter Aortic Valve Replacement for Transcatheter aOrtic Valve failuRE

Summary: The purpose of this study is to generate clinical evidence on valve safety and performance in subjects treated by redo Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).

The Utilization of Single Versus Double Perclose Devices for Transfemoral Aortic Valve Replacement Access Site Closure: A Prospective, Multicenter, Randomized Controlled Trial

Summary: Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) has become widely recognized as a minimally invasive approach for aortic valve replacement in patients with severe aortic stenosis. It has been proven to be a safe and effective option for patients who are at low, intermediate, and prohibitive risk for surgical valve replacement. One of the critical components of procedural success in a transfemoral ap...

Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement For Patients With Bicuspid Aortic Stenosis (Type 0) Using Down Sizing Strategy Compared With Standard Sizing Strategy (HANGZHOU Solution): A Prospective, Multicenter, Randomized Controlled Trial

Summary: To compare down sizing strategy versus annular sizing strategy technique (control group) in Type 0 bicuspid aortic stenosis (AS) patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) with self-expanding valves (SEVs): a randomized superiority trial

the Prospective, Randomized, Controlled, Multi-center Study to Establish the Safety and Effectiveness of Isolated Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement in Low Risk Patients Who Have Symptomatic Severe Aortic Stenosis

Summary: To establish the safety and effectiveness of surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) in patients with isolated severe, calcific aortic stenosis who are at low surgical risk.

CardioHeartConnect: Commercially Available Fitness mHealth for Cardiac Rehabilitation Among Individuals Recovering From Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement

Summary: This trial evaluates the effectiveness of CardioHeartConnect, an eight-week mobile cardiac rehabilitation intervention using Peloton fitness modules, compared to educational control among patients recovering from transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). The study aims to improve physical activity, functional capacity, quality of life, and cardiovascular health using wearable devices and a di...

Assessment of Coronary Artery Disease Before Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement: A Randomized, Multicenter, Non-Inferiority Trial

Summary: The goal of this clinical trial is to determine whether a non-invasive coronary assessment strategy using photon-counting detector computed tomography (PCD-CT) is non-inferior to invasive coronary angiography (ICA) for evaluating coronary artery disease (CAD) prior to transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in patients with severe aortic stenosis.
