Dr. Conoyer is a seventh-generation resident of St. Charles County and a second-generation otolaryngologist—head & neck surgeon. He grew up in St. Charles, graduating from the Academy of the Sacred Heart in 1991 and from Duchesne High School in 1995. He then attended St. Louis University, where he majored in biology while minoring in philosophy and theology. In college, Dr. Conoyer was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Societies. He graduated summa cum laude in 1999 and was selected for early admission to the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Vanderbilt in 2003. After medical school, Dr. Conoyer continued his medical training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he served his surgical internship from 2003-2004 and his residency in otolaryngology—head & neck surgery from 2004-2008. During residency, he authored multiple medical textbook contributions and original scientific articles. His original findings linking smoking to hearing loss garnered attention from national news outlets and many scientific citations. After serving a year as Chief Resident, he moved his family back home to St. Charles County to join Midwest ENT Centre in 2008. Since that time, Dr. Conoyer has developed a reputation as a regional early adopter of emerging medical technologies and minimally-invasive surgical procedures that offer better outcomes and quality-of-life to his patients. He was the first in the bi-state area to perform an in-office balloon sinus dilation procedure and remains among the nation’s most experienced with these procedures. He has similarly been a pioneer with many other office-based ENT technologies, including the Vivaer® procedure (treating nasal obstruction), Eustachian tube dilation, posterior nasal nerve treatments for vasomotor rhinitis, steroid-eluting sinus implantations and the fitting and placement of direct-drive hearing aids. Dr. Conoyer lives in St. Charles County with his wife, Ellen, and their four children. When not caring for his patients, he enjoys coaching youth basketball, wildlife land management and hunting. He is active in his Church, his local parish, and several outreach ministries. A third-generation physician, Dr. Boone began her otolaryngology practice in St. Charles County in the 1990s. She received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and recipient of the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Award. After medical school, Dr. Boone completed her surgical internship and her otolaryngology residency at St. Louis University.  During her residency, she received several achievement awards including Cardinal Glennon department of pediatric surgery intern award given to the surgical intern who exemplifies outstanding surgical skill and patient care.  She was also awarded the Department of Otolaryngology Resident Research Award given the best resident research project judged by an guest professor.  During her residency, she published several articles ranging from newborn hearing screening to intraoperative nerve monitoring. A fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Dr. Boone is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy, St. Charles-Lincoln County Medical Society, the Missouri State Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Boone has been an integral part in the development of the electronic medical records implementation.  She has served on the board of Allscripts for many years and is dedicated to providing the most state of art medical information transparency for her patients.   Philanthropy has been an integral part of Dr. Boone’s life. She has served on several community charity boards in the past. She presently serves as a Board of Directors for Marcy’s Project and is also involved with the St. Louis Zoo Merlin Perkins Society and the St. Louis Winter Opera. Married to Dennis Boone and mother of five children and four grandchildren, Dr. Boone likes to say that she now enjoys the privilege of full-time motherhood with the challenge of a full-time medical practice. Having caught the travel bug, he then moved to Australia to pursue his medical degree at the University of Sydney where he graduated with honors in 2004.After medical school, Dr. Page continued his medical training at the University of Missouri – Columbia, serving both his surgical internship from 2005-2006 and residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery from 2006-2010. During residency, he authored many original scientific articles and presented his research at national scientific meetings. He received awards from the American Academy of Otololaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, including the Resident Leadership Award and a Travel Grant that allowed him to travel to Kenya to perform cleft lip / palate surgery. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in and received the MU Most Outstanding Resident Award for Excellence in Medical Education.After graduating from residency in 2010, Dr. Page was recruited to the MU School of Medicine faculty, where he served as Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. As an academic surgeon, Dr. Page had a busy clinical practice taking care of patients. He also served as the director of medical student education where he had the opportunity to help train hundreds of future doctors – many of whom are practicing across Missouri. In addition, Dr. Page founded and directed the MU Voice, Swallow and Airway Center – an interdisciplinary center that has become a leader in voice, swallow and airway research.While in Columbia, Dr. Page met his wife Jenna – a St. Louis County native who graduated from Nerinx Hall. During his medical school years, he continued to instruct other medical professionals in human anatomy and Advanced Trauma Life Support.Dr. Conoyer completed a General Surgery Internship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2008, and returned to St. Louis University to train in Otolaryngology. While in his residency, he served on several governing boards involved with improving the quality of resident education. His research interests included treatment protocols for Idiopathic Sudden Sensory Neural Hearing Loss and the characteristics of malignant tumors on Positron Emission Tomography (PET scanning). Having completed his ENT training in 2013, he is pleased to be joining Midwest ENT. During medical school, Dr. MacDonald received a research grant from the March of Dimes to investigate congenital visual defects. His work was published in a scientific journal. In addition, he edited the “Washington University School of Medicine Clinical Survival Guide.” Upon graduation, he received the Merck Manual Award.Dr. MacDonald completed his Surgical Internship and Residency in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital. During this period he received the Basic Science Research Award in the Division of Plastic Surgery for his work on nerve regeneration. His publications included a scientific article on a new method to repair eardrum perforations in children, and a chapter on the treatment of cancer in a textbook entitled, “Comprehensive Management of Head and Neck Tumors.” He now serves as an Instructor in Clinical Otolaryngology at Washington University School of Medicine.Dr. MacDonald is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is an active member of the American Association of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery, the American Association of Otolaryngic Allergy, the St. Louis ENT Club, and the Saint Charles-Lincoln County Medical Society.
