He teaches physicians how to perform complex endoscopy procedures at courses throughout the country and internationally. Dr. Gupta is very active in multiple gastroenterology medical societies and currently serves on committees for the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and the International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus (ISDE).Dr. Gupta spent over 10 years as a faculty physician at Loyola Medicine where he led the Loyola University Medical Center Digestive Health program to 5 consecutive top 50 rankings at US News and World Report (a first ever achievement in the history of Loyola Medicine) as well as served in other senior leadership roles including Chief Medical Officer of the Medical Group and Regional Vice President of Ambulatory Operations.
